We’re representing a Senior SRE with 15 years of hands-on engineering experience. They are in search of their next challenge with an early-stage startup.
Highlights
- Designs, plans, executes and sustains production and development environments. Provides daily technical leadership to junior team members, automates operations processes (terraform, python, etc).
- Designed and implemented REST back end components for IoT data pipelines/ repository, deployed to AWS. Standard N-tier solution using AWS components such as Route53, EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, etc. Serverless (API gateway/Python lambda). Persistence using DynamoDB and Aurora (PostgreSQL). Deployment using Code Build, Code Deploy, Code Pipeline, and Cloud Formation.
- Reverse-engineered pre-existing infrastructure, dockerized applications, managed Kubernetes clusters, created Ansible playbooks, and terraform scripts. Also, provided support for enterprise systems such as artifactory, ansible, rancher, circleci, github, rundeck, grafana, prometheus, datadog, pagerduty, spinnaker, etc.
