Kofi Group places software engineers and machine learning engineers on a direct-hire basis with VC-backed startups across the USA & Canada.

We’re growing and looking for an experienced Business Development Representative. Partnering closely with account managers, you will have a direct impact on our ability to achieve revenue goals and accelerate growth. 

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Use various prospecting tools and channels to research VC-backed startups, identify hiring manager contacts and craft targeted messaging campaigns
  • Execute on our existing prospecting strategy, while A/B testing new strategies to build our sales pipeline and grow our business
  • Maintain a balance between a high volume of activity and an adequate level of personalization to maximize results
  • Schedule weekly qualification and discovery meetings for our account managers with new prospects
  • Meet and exceed monthly quotas 

What We’re Looking For in Candidates:

  • Sales “hunter” mentality
  • Strong outbound SDR/BDR experience in a B2B setting with little to no reliance on inbound leads
  • Desire for a long-term career in sales
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to quickly hone-in on an ICP, recognize patterns and grasp complex topics
  • Not afraid to send a high volume of outreach messages, cold call and use a multi-channel strategy to break into accounts
  • Experience creating strategic outbound sequences to build sales pipelines
  • Proficiency in crafting personalized messages to hiring managers and executives
  • Ability to efficiently prioritize time to manage a high volume of activity
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and implement industry and messaging trends that lead to better conversion rates 
  • Track record of consistently meeting or exceeding target
  • Receptive to feedback, naturally curious and constantly looking for ways to learn and improve
